This fast-acting blemish buster contains a powerhouse of anti-inflammatory and antibacterial actives to reduce oiliness, fight breakouts and balance the complexion.
Breakouts and blemishes occur when the skin microbiome is compromised by factors such as pollution and UV rays. This lightweight, concentrated serum is brimming with skin-friendly prebiotics such as chlorella and chicory root extract to preserve the balance of the skin’s microbiome, while also reducing inflammation.
Salicylic acid, lemon myrtle extract and bakuchiol (a natural alternative to retinol) go further to purge the pores, combat shine and regulate sebum.
The added niacinamide boosts collagen to repair skin barrier function.
That’s not all. Algae extract is clinically-proven to prevent scarring, which is a huge concern for acne prone skin types, and existing pigmentation is gradually diminished with encapsulated azelaic acid.

Azelaic Acid Derivative – An effective oil controlling ingredient with skin brightening and clarifying properties, it also helps to lighten the appearance of acne spots
Salicylic Acid – Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid. It is famed for reducing acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping pores clear. It reduces inflammation and controls sebum.
Lactic Acid – a mild alpha hydroxy acid produced by fermentation from sugar. It has a gentle exfoliating effect on the skin and also contributes to hydration.
Bakuchiol – The natural alternative to Retinol for acne-prone skin, Bakuchiol addresses sebum production & its integrity. Derived from the Babchi seeds Bakuchiol is effective in reducing the overpopulation of bacteria and inflammation.
Niacinamide – With its renowned anti-aging properties for the skin, Niacinamide helps boost the production of collagen synthesis, improves the epidermal barrier function, and reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation and total sebaceous lipids resulting in a clearer skin.
Lilac Extract – Derived from the lilac plant, this key active ingredient mattifies the complexion and helps to fade inflammatory blemishes and hyperpigmentation.
Chlorella extract – A prebiotic derived from marine algae, Chlorella Extract helps preserve the balance of the microbiome, calms and soothes the skin, reducing redness, comedones and sebum production. Thanks to its holistic epidermal approach it helps to revitalise and rejuvenate the skin for a clear, fresh complexion.
Lemon Myrtle Extract – A sebum regulator extracted from the Australian Lemon Myrtle plant, it helps reduce shine, restoring balance and improving the tone and quality of blemish prone skin.
Chicory Root Extract – A prebiotic derived from the root of the chicory plant, it boosts the anti-microbial effect, purifying the skin from unwanted microorganisms, whilst boosting the skin’s protective microbiota barrier. HOW TO USE
Use:
Daily
After cleansing, squeeze 2-3 drops onto a clean fingertip and dab onto your spots and blemished areas once or twice per day.
For the occasional breakout, use just when needed. Gently dot onto blemish with clean finger after cleansing the skin.
For best results, follow with Dr Somji’s Signature Serum, applying it directly over the top of the Concentrate, covering your face and neck, avoiding eyes, before applying moisturiser.
