What is a Concentrate? A high-potency targeted treatment with smaller molecular sizes for deeper, faster penetration into the skin. Apply first after cleansing, then layer your Signature Serum directly on top to amplify results.

  • Redness and reactivity are often misunderstood. They're not simply about sensitive skin — they're usually a sign of a compromised barrier that's lost its ability to regulate its own response. For rosacea specifically, there are two distinct subtypes, and most anti-redness skincare doesn't properly address either.

  • For Type 1 (Vascular) Rosacea — characterised by flushing and visible vascular redness — MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) supports vasoconstriction, reducing visible flushing. This vascular component is addressed by very few anti-redness products.

  • For Type 2 (Inflammatory) Rosacea — presenting with redness, inflammation and acne-like breakouts — the formula repairs the skin barrier, restores hydration and calms the inflammatory response that drives recurring flares.

  • With regular daily use, skin becomes visibly calmer, more even in tone. The redness that was the daily norm starts to become the exception.

Active Ingredients

Centella Asiatica Exosomes

Centella asiatica delivered via plant-derived exosome technology. Biological nanoparticles protect the active and enhance its delivery into the skin, ensuring the full anti-inflammatory benefit reaches where it's needed.

Centella Extract

Obtained by sustainable plant cell culture. Reduces the first signs of rosacea, fades facial redness and reduces the visibility of damaged dermal capillaries.

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)

Supports vasoconstriction to reduce visible flushing and vascular redness (Type 1 rosacea). Calms inflammation and reduces redness.

Reishi Ferment

From the Ganoderma mushroom, used in Eastern medicine for over 2,000 years. Accelerates skin regeneration and restores barrier function.

Biomimetic Carbohydrate Complex

Provides hydration lasting 72 hours, essential for rosacea-prone skin which is often externally dry but internally dehydrated.

Vitamin B Complex

Panthenyl Triacetate and Naringenin. Gives an instant soothing effect on irritated skin.

Oak, Rosemary and Green Coffee Acid Derivatives

Addresses all factors of skin redness and rosacea, evening skin tone and clarifying the complexion.

How to use

Step 1: After cleansing, squeeze 2-3 drops onto a clean fingertip and gently smooth onto areas of redness once or twice a day.

Step 2: For the occasional red patch, use just when needed. Gently dab onto the area with a clean finger after cleansing the skin.

Step 3: For best results, follow with Dr Somji Signature Serum Light, applying it directly over the top of the concentrate, covering your face and neck, avoiding the eye area, before applying moisturiser.
