What types of dark spots and pigmentation does this treat?

The Anti-Dark Spot Concentrate is formulated for post-acne marks (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), sun spots, age spots, hormonal melasma, and general uneven skin tone. The dual melanin cascade mechanism — blocking both the stimulus for pigmentation and the formation of melanin — addresses a broader range of pigmentation types than single-mechanism brightening products.

How long will it take to see results?

Results are progressive. Measurable improvement in skin evenness and clarity is typically visible within 6–8 weeks of consistent twice-daily use. 78% of independent trial participants reported brighter and clearer skin. For deeper or more established pigmentation (e.g. hormonal melasma), 10–12 weeks may be required for significant visible change.

Why is SPF so important when treating pigmentation?

UV exposure is the primary trigger for melanin overproduction — both new pigmentation and the re-darkening of spots that have already been treated. Is this safe for all skin tones?

Yes. The formula uses Alpha-Arbutin, Swiss Cress Extract and Pine Tree Extract — all well-tolerated brightening actives validated for use on all skin tones. The formula does not contain hydroquinone or other aggressive lightening agents that can cause paradoxical darkening or irritation in deeper skin tones.

Can I use this on post-acne marks as well as sun damage?

Yes. The Azelaic Acid Derivative and Encapsulated Retinol specifically address post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (post-acne marks), while Alpha-Arbutin and Swiss Cress Extract are most effective for UV-triggered pigmentation including sun spots and age spots. The full formula works across both types.

How do I layer this with the Signature Serum?

Apply 2–3 drops directly to areas of pigmentation after cleansing, morning and evening. Allow to absorb briefly, then apply the Signature Serum over the full face.
